Write up answers to the following questions. You may handwrite your answers (please be neat!) or type them. Please upload your solution to Gradescope. If you hand write your answers, you can scan your solution (there are scanners in every library) or take quality photos of each page of your solution.

Complete Exercise 4.3 parts 6-12, answering the queries in relational algebra. (You do not need to answer them using calculus.)

• Query 7: you should interpret “every red or green part” as “every part that is either red or green.”
• Query 11: your answer should be correct even in the case where there are multiple suppliers named “Yosemite Sham.”

You are encouraged to work in groups of at most 3. If you work in a group, be sure to submit one version for the group. (Gradescope makes it possible to do group submissions.)
