I solved the problem of my tile floor flipping when the forty-five point was on the left of the vanishing point (thanks to Rosie), but am still working on the issue of the tiles appearing too long as the forty-five point gets closer to the vanishing point. I am starting to think I've been thinking about this problem the wrong way; maybe the solution is not to stretch the existing tiles, but to add a new row of tiles on top.
