COSC 101: Intro to Computing 1

Python programming environment

You can download and install (for free) a Python environment from python.org. Be sure to get Python version 3, not 2.7! We’re using Python version 3 (version 3.7 or later) in this class.

Textbook

We will be using an online text with embedded, interactive exercises called How to think like a computer scientist.

Moodle

The Colgate Moodle server has all course materials, e.g., syllabus, weekly schedule, notes, etc., and also has course grades.
