Introduction to Objects: Standards

By the end of the multimedia content students should:

• be able to define the concept of an object and how it relates to programming
• be able to given an everyday object (like a radio) identify the components that work together to make up the larger object
• Identify the components of an object definition when given a code outline

Note: Upon completion of the online resource content a standards based course curriculum will be included, and standards from each unit will match to the standards set forth in that document. These final standards will be researched to match the ACM standards for Computer Science and will be focused to cover adequate material for both the Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate programs.
