Alexander Nakhimovsky has an MA in Mathematics from Leningrad (St. Petersburg) University, 1972, and a PhD in Linguistics, with a graduate minor in Computer Science, from Cornell University, 1979. He also completed three years of Applied Linguisitcs and TESOL study at the Herzen Pedagogical University of St.Petersburg.
